The Wasteland Warriors are an international artist collaboration specialising in post-apocalyptic designs. The group was founded in 2013 by Joe Neuvième and is mainly based in central Germany but with members from all around Europe. Their diverse art ranges from costumes and props to vehicles and interactive displays.

It all started with the admiration of post-apocalyptic aesthetics, drawing inspiration from iconic films such as “Waterworld” and “Mad Max,” as well as video games like “Metro” and “Fallout.” Inspired by these aesthetics, the group strived to recreate their immersion through their own, self-made art. Over the years, a dynamic relationship developed, with the Wasteland Warriors influencing and being influenced by the film and gaming industries.

The Wasteland Warriors are frequently booked for shows and events for providing post-apocalyptic ambience with interactive displays.
Over the years, they performed at renowned events, festivals, and fairs, including the Mera Luna Festival, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, and the Roleplay Convention. In 2023, they celebrated their 10th anniversary, a milestone marking a decade of post-apocalyptic shows for both the group and the Wasteland of the iconic Wacken Open Air festival itself.
